Sent to a friend I'm not sure if I believe in God. Though I do go to church and have been baptized. My faith is twisted, by my belief in Ghosts and Aliens. Believing in the bible forces me to denounce my belief in the aforementioned. I have seen a ghost before, so I know they exist. I have never seen Aliens or God. So I am in a dilemma. Should we only believe in God if we can't believe in anything else?Rating:1.00

- GHOSTS AND GOD DO NOT EXIST ALIENS ARE A POSSIBILITY DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE UNIVERSE
- Genies do exist and GOD created them. If your bible say something else, I think you should look for the right relegion.
- Believing in the bible does not denounce the belief in Ghosts or Aliens. There is nothing in the bible that denounces them and any priest, rabbi, father... (what ever) with an open mind will tell you the same thing. A closed mind is an illiterate mind.
- For God/God's to have anything to do with the writing of religious scriptures, free will would go out the window. I believe that the bible is a corrupted representation of one theory of existence. Maybe the ghost you saw was an alien, maybe trying to take human form. Religion states it knows with out a doubt
ultimate truth, that supposedly only a higher power could know, you can only know that you don't know, this does not mean you should stop seeking truth. There isn't a cure for cancer this does not mean people should stop looking for one or that one will never be found.
Seek truth. - You cant tell if they are ghosts or not... Since NOONE has ever returned from the dead AND tell anyone what happened after that, noone knows what happens after death, so ghosts may well exist. Just like aliens, have we ever seen one? No. But that doesn't mean they don't exist. I have seen a ghost I believe, one day I was walking down the street, A strange bearded man in tattered clothes with blood on his face passed by me, I said "Are you ok?!" but he didnt even acknlowledge, as if I didn't exist, so as he passed by, I turned around and saw that he wasnt there. And this was RIGHT after he passed by me, not a minute.
- The belief in God is a natural extension of our own psychological need to be loved. Most people cannot comprehend the fact that there is nothing after death or that a great being in the heavens didn't create the universe. If you can believe in a supernatural being that has always "been there" then you should surely consider that the universe could very well also. Once you liberate yourself from the myths you may be amazed at how much more important and fulfilling life can become.
- Whatever God is, he is greater than our ability to create some super human projections of what we think he has got to be.
But to answer your question, you are free to believe in whatever you want to believe in. I believe in my executive manager to make the right decision on many things, and I can see her. Whether I can see something or not does not constitute a basis on whether I am going to believe in it or not.
I am not clear how you think going to church and having been baptized means that you end up with a twisted faith because you happen to believe in aliens and ghosts. Suppose they are indeed real, what does that have to do with believing in God?
